We’ll spend the weekend basking in the scenic beauty of the North Cascade Environmental Learning Center, a sustainable venue located in the North Cascades National Park. Tucked between the shores of Lake Diablo and Sourdough Mountain, this forested land is a treasure trove for adventurers that want to build new skills, explore their passions and make new friends.
Named a "Top Three Spots in the North Cascades" by The Seattle Times and "Top Ten Great Getaways" by ParentMap Magazine, the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center is a hub of discovery in one of the wildest, most biologically diverse landscapes in North America. This award-winning residential campus is operated by North Cascades Institute in partnership with the National Park Service and the City of Seattle.

During your stay at Kulapalooza, you will sleep in one of three lodges. Each contains seven dormitory style rooms that will allow you to build new friendships from the time you check in. All rooms have four bunk beds. Request accommodations with acquaintances or let us select the perfect roommates for your weekend.
Bedrooms include wireless Internet, writing desks and built-in wardrobes. Two lodges have a lounge area with sofas, chairs, fireplace and a limited kitchenette — perfect for relaxing and late night conversations. Linens (pillow, sheets, blanket and towels) are supplied.
No smoking, vaping, alcohol or marijuana are permitted on the campus.
We offer superb meals daily, served buffet style in the lakeside Dining Hall. The staff prepare meals that showcase the fresh and flavorful foods of the Skagit River Valley as part of its Foodshed Initiative.
